Why We Built This
In October 2024, Etsy made an update on how third-party apps can access order information. As a result, some fulfillment details stopped syncing properly between Shopify and Etsy.
As a work-around, many sellers have been copying customer details by hand, switching between platforms, and manually marking orders as shipped on Etsy, while risking order mismatches.
We knew there had to be a better way.
That’s why we built “Quick Fulfill on Etsy”, a simple one-click solution that brings back a smooth, reliable fulfillment process.
Why It Matters
Before this new feature release, Etsy’s limitations meant some fulfillment steps could only happen on Etsy. Whether you’re fulfilling directly through Etsy or using an Etsy-approved app like Shippo or ShipStation, Athlete will bring those shipment details right back to Shopify so your dashboard stays accurate.
How to Get Started
There’s nothing to install or configure. “Quick Fulfill on Etsy” is already inside your Athlete app.
- Navigate to an order on the Shopify dashboard that Athlete synced from Etsy.
- Click “More Actions” → “Quick Fulfill on Etsy”.
- A new tab will open where you’ll be taken directly to the Etsy order page. (Note, make sure pop-up blockers are disabled on your browser.)
- Fulfill your order as you normally would. Once you are finished, you may close this tab.
- Allow a few minutes and Athlete will handle the sync back to Shopify so you can focus on the next order.
